Tenjin Shrine Time-Killing

At 19:30 I am meeting some friends for dinner. It is 18:45. Nearby is a favorite spot: Tenjin Shrine, which overlooks the Takao Station area. Especially after the leaves have fallen, it has excellent views. Occasional walkers or hikers or boars are the only thing interrupting town sounds that waft up.

Every time I sit up here—and when I do it is several minutes or more—I am struck by how peaceful is the place I live.
